NIIT-World’s no.1 partner of Cisco offers authorized programs in CCNA addressing the needs in area of Network services –Cisco Network devices-Routers & Switches, Operating systems to provide practical and experimental learning experience to the students aspiring to become a CCNA.
This program has three modules each combining a set of technologies that
enables you to achieve specific Networking and CCNA skill set.

Introduction to Internetworking Technologies (ICND1)
- Build a simple serial network and a smarter network
- Manage network environment
- Ensure the reliability of data delivery
- Operate and configure IOS devices
- Classify devices and functions in the OSI model
- Use the data communications transmission method
- Solve ethernet networking issues using switched LAN technology
- Select topology and network addressing scheme
- Identify the types of transport protocols (TCP or UDP) and the IP application
- Identify the fundamental technologies in a WAN environment
- Configure and troubleshoot routers and switches
- Use router as a DHCP server
- Configure and troubleshoot RIP
Interconnecting Networking Devices in a Heterogeneous Environment (ICND2)
- Configure the different types of switches
- Configure and do troubleshooting of virtual LANs (VLANs)
- Configure and do troubleshooting of IGRP, EIGRP, and OSPF
- Configure IP access lists on a router
- Configure serial interfaces using PPP and HDLC on a router
- Configure frame relay on a router
- Configure DDR between two routers with BRI or PRI using a router
- Set up a connection between switches
- Build a switch-based network
CompTIA® Network+®
- Identify standards and protocols
- Identify ethernet standards
- Identify the need for internetworking
- Use networking technologies
- Identify the limitations of networking technologies
- Understand switch basics and switching networks
- Configure VPN and VLAN
- Understand wireless technologies and standards

NIIT-World’s no.1 partner of Cisco offers authorized training and certification in CCNA .
Having a CCNA certification is highly valued in the networking industry and is a testimony that you know how to install, configure, operate, and troubleshoot medium-size routed and switched networks.
Network administrator or network engineer job roles will require or recommend that you have a CCNA

ICND1
- Describe how networks function, identifying major components, function of network
components and the Open System Interconnection (OSI) reference model
- Using the host-to-host packet delivery process, describe issues related to increasing
traffic on an Ethernet LAN and identify switched LAN technology solutions to Ethernet networking
issues
- Describes the reasons for extending the reach of a LAN and the methods that can be used
with a focus on RF wireless access
- Describes the reasons for connecting networks with routers and how routed networks
transmit data through networks using TCP / IP
- Describe the function of Wide Area Networks (WANs), the major devices of WANs,
and configure PPP encapsulation, static and dynamic routing, PAT and RIP routing
- Use the command-line interface to discover neighbors on the network and managing
the routers startup and configuration
ICND2
- Review how to configure and troubleshoot a small network
- Expand the switched network from a small LAN to a medium-sized LAN with multiple
switches, supporting VLANs, trunking, and spanning tree
- Describe routing concepts as they apply to a medium-sized network and
discuss considerations when implementing routing on the network
- Configure, verify, and troubleshoot OSPF
- Configure, verify, and troubleshoot EIGRP
- Determine how to apply ACLs based on network requirements, and to configure, verify,
and troubleshoot ACLs on a medium-sized network
- Describe when to use NAT or PAT on a meium-sized network, and configure NAT or PAT
on routers
- Identify and implement the appropriate WAN technology based on network requirements
